Designed for Rural Living

Our solar panel systems are designed to address all rural challenges, including distance to the grid, Wi-Fi connection, roof orientation, installation location and even aesthetics.

Receive Detailed System Report Step

Detailed Load Sheet

For rural installs, we always create detailed system plans. This means that we’ll take a look at your electricity bill to determine the usage, your roofline, shading and roof orientation and whether or not you want feed tariffs from the grid.

Initial Inquiry Step

In-Person Quotes

In order to give you the most accurate quote, we always perform them in-person and never over the phone. Our in-person quotes for rural installs ensures that we have all the details about your solar energy needs and property before we price the system.

Custom System Usp

Custom System Design

Each installation is completely customised by one of our highly trained staff, who will visit your property in person to make sure you get the performance you need out of your system.

Monitoring Step

Free 6 Months Solar Monitoring

Eligible systems receive free remote monitoring for the first six months after installation. Every three months after your installation, we will send you a detailed report on your system’s performance.

Thank You Pack Usp

You will receive a locally sourced thank you pack upon completion of the installation. This includes drone footage of the project on a custom USB.

Rural Solar Installation Process

Initial Inquiry Step

Step 1: Initial Inquiry

Our Specialised Solution Consultants will listen and answer your questions then organise a time to view the property. Once the Solution Consultant views your property and gets a solid idea of the type and size of the system you need, you’ll be provided with a personalised quote.

Signing Up Step

Step 2: Sign Up

If you agree with your quote, sign up. Once we have received your accepted proposal and deposit or financing approval, our admin team will order your system and get the grid application submitted. We’ll also prepare any other paperwork that’s associated with your new system.

Schedule Step

Step 3: After Your Deposit

We’ll be in touch to schedule your solar install 2 to 3 weeks after we receive your deposit. Installation dates are usually scheduled the following week after we call or about a month after we receive your deposit. Weather, system install demand and other factors can affect this timeline.

Installation Step

Step 4: Installation!

You can expect our team at 7am, and we ask that someone is home so that we can get access to your manhole and wi-fi details. During the install, your electricity is isolated for four hours for safety reasons. Payment is due on the day of installation.

Post Installation Step

Step 5. Post Installation

About three days after your installation, online system access is granted. Our administrative team will send off the meter change paperwork where allowed, if you need a meter change, and email you copies of all the warranty paperwork and system information.

Meter Change Step

Step 6. Meter Change

If you need a meter change, you can expect it between 1 and 4 weeks after we submit the paperwork. It’s important to note that your energy provider will contact you about the timeframe and any associated costs. We do not change your electricity meter.

Benefits for Rural Clients

Rural Installation

If you’re connected to the grid, you can help prevent power outages at your location by adding battery system with additional backup products. If your property is outside of the electrical grid, an off-grid system can ensure that you have clean, renewable power instead of constantly operating a gas or diesel-powered generator.

FAQs

The size of the individual solar panels depends on the type. Our Solution Consultants can help you determine which type and size of panel is right your you based on how much electricity you need and the size of the area where the panels are to be installed.

If you need a battery installed on an existing solar panel system, please let us know. The specifics of this depend on how your current solar array is set up. Our Solution Consultants would be happy to listen to your needs and answer your questions.

You may be able to add more panels later. It depends on your system design, setup, and allowed capacity by the network provider. Please speak to one of our Solution Consultants about your specific solar panel system.

We source the solar panels for our rural installs from Australia, Singapore, China, Canada, South Korea, and the United States.

Rural and urban solar panel system installations are nearly the same. The primary difference between the two is the type of internet connection, if it’s available, and the cable distances needed. Rural locations can also often have the panels installed on the ground rather than on a roof.

We offer warranties between 10 and 25 years for all rural installations.
