Solar Panel FAQ

Once your solar energy system is installed, the PV cells in the panel convert the sun’s energy into electricity. Your home uses the power produced first and any excess is routed into the grid.

We source panels from right here in Australia as well as from Singapore, Canada, China, South Korea and the United States.

Traditional electricity generating plants use fossil fuels, like coal and gas to run generators that produce electricity. By contrast, your new solar panel array only uses the sun’s light, which is a much cleaner way to generate power. It’s also an unlimited resource.

There are three types of solar panels on the market today, including Monocrystalline, Polycrystalline and Thin-film. In general, monocrystalline tends to perform the best, but it’s typically the most expensive. Polycrystalline is more affordable but offers lower efficiency and performance than Monocrystalline. Thin film is highly regarded for its flexibility and portability. Our Solution Consultants would be happy to explain the types of panels available to you and their individual benefits and drawbacks.

Our highly trained staff will custom design your system according to your energy needs and the space available on your roof or property. If you have any questions about your new system or anything you want us to take into consideration, please let us know.

Solar storage batteries are an option for residential and commercial solar energy systems. The addition of a battery to your system means that you can store energy for later use when the sun is down. Battery systems can also provide power to off-grid homes.

The number of solar batteries you need depends on your average power consumption and the number of days of power you want to store in your battery system. Our Solution Consultants can help you decide on the size of the battery system in order to ensure that you have adequate power even if the municipal grid goes down with relevant backup additions to your system.

We only provide our clients with custom solar panel installations that meet their needs and expectations. In general, you can expect your entire installation from your acceptance of the proposal to the completed project to take between one and two months.

In order to provide you with the best solar panel system possible and to ensure it meets all your needs, we only use our professionally trained and experienced staff and never contractors.
